Notes

  • If updating from WNT 2.0.0 release please read the WNT 3.0.0 release notes [1] as it provides important information about the WNT 3.0.0 major release
  • When WNT major version number changes e.g. from 2.0.0 to 3.0.0, it also means that WNT API has changed [2].
  • Node list page contains columns "High priority dropped packets" and "Dropped normal and high priority packets total amount". This is due that diagnostics for WM FW < 5.0 contains "High priority dropped packets" and WM FW 5.0 contains "Dropped normal and high priority packets total amount". It is possible to hide either of the columns by changing configuration XML file. For more information please see WNT user guide [3].

Fixed issues

Fixed Issue

Description

Wrong error text value shown in stored scratchpad status

Wrong enumeration was used to map the error code to text value.

Wrong payload sent when running multiple unicast node configurations under the same sink

WNT backend sent wrong Remote API payload to node if multiple unicast node configuration processes were run under the same sink. This can cause issues like multiple nodes get the same node address or nodes get wrong role.

Known Issues

Issue

Description

Neighbor diagnostics

Not all neighbours are shown in the WNT client application if the node has over 14 neighbours in WM FW < 5.0.

Topology for sinks without members

Sink node is not shown in the Topology page if it does not contain any members.

Client installer does not notice if client is running

Client installer leaves old executable to the installation folder while uninstalling if it is running.

Scratchpad is not taken into use in certain situation if sink does not have any members

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Have a sink without any members
  2. Run the node update with "Update sink(s) only" tick on. The sequence number will change to zero.
  3. Run the node update again without "Update sink(s) only" ticked. The sequence number will change to 255 and the sink waits the scratchpad from the non-existing members forever.
If you see this issue please contact Wirepas support for solving it.
